Posted November 14, 2018 05:19:16A man who killed six people and injured 14 others in a gas explosion at a gas station in Ohio has been charged with murder.
Christopher Johnson, 35, was charged with the death of 21-year-old Michael Miller, who was found dead inside the gas station at about 11:30 p.m.
According to the criminal complaint, Johnson and his brother, Joseph Johnson, 31, met at a bar and exchanged some banter before the two decided to meet at the gas pump.
They walked into the store and got into a verbal confrontation, and the brothers then drove the car.
At one point, Johnson allegedly tried to pull a handgun from his waistband.
When the brothers saw that Miller was in the store with his girlfriend, they fled.
The brothers stopped at a nearby gas station and purchased gas, and then headed back to their car.
When they got back to the vehicle, they found that Miller had died from multiple blunt force injuries.
Authorities said Miller had been drinking, and was not wearing any clothing or gloves when he was killed.
Investigators say the brothers also have been charged in the death on Oct. 6 of another man who died in a car accident at a motel.
