Why are there so many indoor propane stations?

How many propane gas stations are there in your area?

The answers are surprisingly diverse.

The U.S. Department of Energy estimates that there are more than 7,000 indoor propanes, according to the National Petroleum Council.

That number is far lower than the National Gas Association’s estimate of nearly 14,000 propane outlets nationwide.

In a 2013 study, the American Academy of Public Health found that a significant percentage of the population live in areas with low-to-moderate propane consumption.

In many places, the number of propane tanks is relatively low and can be found indoors or outdoors.

Some states have laws that require residents to have at least one propane tank or at least three in a home, according the Associated Press.

Propane is a more efficient fuel than natural gas and can also be more efficient when used indoors.

But propane is also more polluting than natural gases.

The EPA and other environmental groups have recommended that people limit their indoor consumption of propanes and that those who do need to take extra precautions.
